Summer Bishil is an American actress who is best known for her role as Margo Hanson on the Syfy the fantasy-based drama The Magicians (2015-present). She had previously gained recognition as the character of an American girl aged 13 Jasira Maroun as she goes through a series of turbulent personal struggles against the context of the U.S. military invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. Later, in 2007, Variety named her among its top 10 actors to watch. She was also a key role in 2009's crime drama Crossing Over.
